My Current WIP is the 1/72 Italeri C-130 that I am marking up in the old tri colour cam of 36 SQN RAAF.
I actually started this model around ten years ago and shelved it because I was young and it got boring, Ive cracked it open again and added detail to the cock pit, added troop seats in the cargo area, added a the bulkhead for the mid wing fuel tank and blocked out around the landing gear, drilled out the exhaust for the APU.

This is the base for the cockpit, the kit is very basic even for 1/72. I used the kit seats, control yokes and dash. I added bulkheads around the crew seats using plasticard.

Here you can see the bulkheaad I added, it’s not shown here but I also blocked out around the gear all the way to the roof as in the real aircraft. I also added the aircon pipes to the bulkhead.

I framed up the troop seat using sprue.

The net seat stumped me for ages, I tried to glue ribbon together in a net, this was suitable for a larger scale but was wrong for 1/72. I ended up using laminating sheets peeled in half and coloured in with texta before I cut the squares out to make a net.

This is the cam pattern. I masked it up using blu tack and tape. I sprayed each half seperatley so the pattern doesnt line up exactly so I will patch this on final construction.
Thats as far as I’ve got. what does every one think so far?
