1/72 Millicast-Volksstrum with weapons&NCO

Millicast is known as a 1/76 scale manufacturer, but few of their sets are released in a true 1/72 scale, the size of the bodies, gear, and weapons having nothing to do with the 1/76 scale. The titles of those few sets mention they belong to 1/76 scale which may bring confusions to both 1/76 and 1/72 hobbyists. One example on the matter is “German Volksstrum w/weapons & NCO”. The extended review of this set together with more images including size reference and comparison is available here: http://www.ww2germans.com/index.php/component/content/article/16-reviews/543-millicast-german-volkstrum-w-weapons-nco-fig059-ext I painted all the figures with coats as regular soldiers, for the moment being in service with Feldgendarmerie (the green armband with Feldgendarmerie logo). The soldier with green coat wears a M37 rubberised rain mantel. I hope you will enjoy the review and these highly detailed figs. Cristian Florescu

Nice little figures.

Many thanks, I am happy you noticed them…

Great job Cristian. Painting figures this small takes a VERY steady hand. You did very well.

And, thank you for calling my attention to 1:72 figures. 1:72 is my scale of choice for aircraft, so it’s nice to know of some figures to go a long with them.

Nice job ! I finished Milicast’s 1/76 American infantry (milfig076?) recently. They have great figuresets.
