Back on aircraft again this week with another interesting 1/72 kit from Hasegawa with their P2V-7 Neptune Kit.
Should be good. I’ve never seen one of these built up. I guess it’s just not a glamorous as some of the more well known planes. Will you be using kit markings, are there even aftermarket decals? Can’t wait to see it all done.
I think the Neptune fits in well with their sweet spot of large aircraft kits back in the 1970s. I would love to see them redo these kits to modern standards. They did new kits of the Betty and Emily, both if which were outstanding. Personally, I’d like a new tool B-47, Marlin, and Shin Meiwa PS-2.
The Neptune looks really nice in JSDF markings, as do most aircraft!
Agree with the need for a new tooling, not just of this, but of alot of aircraft from that era.
