1/72 E-100 panzer finished pics

Hi all,

i recently finished up this 1/72 E-100 resin kit that I got off eBay last year. It’s an easy build, and goes together quite nicely. i finished it up with my regular Tamiya paints and weathered it with Adam Wilder’s NitroLine finishing products. The figure is from MIG, painted in hobby store acrylics. The barrel seems as if it may have just the slightest bit of droop now that i look at it in a photograph, but I can fix that with some hot water.

Wow you got a lot of detail out of that little thing! That figure is amazingly fine for being so small! Severely impressive Karl. Wow, just WOW.

Hey, thanks, Mike! I like doing these lil kits once in a while when I don’t have a lot of time between travel. They go together pretty quickly and are easy to finish…well, relatively speaking, I guess! And they use less supplies up!

Great looking build Karl. really nice work on the figure as well. Not easy to do in that scale.

Just a masterful paint job (as usual)… always gets my blood boiling.

And Yeh, looks like that barrel has a slight case of!http://www.balkan-politika.com/images/smilies/thbackingoutslowly.gif ED.

Just warm and bend on it some,http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg149/autumn59/happydance.gif~original should straighten right up.

Thank you, Steve, and Bish!

That figure was tricky to get right-- you really have to play with the “light” to make it look “real”! It took me quite a few revisions!

I’ll get to that barrel in a few days or so. Got some rockin’ to do first, Steve!

Outstanding realism in that small scale. Nice finish [Y]

Do you have any pictures of the top surfaces of this model? I just need some example to finish - finish the 1/72 draisine I thought I finished a while ago

Sprue, thanks a lot! And, uh, I could get you photos of the top of it when I get home from Brazil on Wednesday–try to send me a reminder and I’ll try to get them to you then!

Brazil? oh, then no worries. Enjoy [ip]

Looks like the perfect ‘in-between’ type of project there Karl! Very nice work and if not for that square enamel bottle it could pass for 1/35 for sure. [;)] [B]

Wow… and so small! [:D[ Awesome work Karl

WOW! Absolutely gorgeous!

And sooooo tiny!! [:O]

That is super cool Karl!

Karl those little guys are fun to do, I think you really gave it everything and it looks awesome….very nice work on the camo and weathering. Mean little bugger.

Thanks, guys. I appreciate all your comments! Now I have to find a suitable vignette base to show it off!

That is an awesome piece of modeling! Sweet work dude!

Thanks to everyone who commented here, for the nice words and praise. I’m sorry that it took so long for me to return to this thread. Thanks, JT, RX, and Doughnut!
