I’ve started work on Revell’s new B-17G and would really like to build a small diorama for it when finished. I’ve been looking and found next to none in the area of accessories. I was hoping for maybe a couple of figures, bomb loading cart, or vehicle of some kind. Can anyone point me in a direction? Perusing over the common sites like Squadron and Sprue Brothers hasn’t helped much.
Unfortunatly, as far as long run injection molded items are concerned, your choice is very limited. There is one set by Academy, its the one with the Ambulance, thats also includes a tractor and bomb trolley. But these trolleys only carry one bomb and were towed in long trains. The only other items are from two companies both in the UK. The first producers resin and white metal sets. But they can only be contacted by snail mail. On page two is an M5 bomb trolley which is rather nice.

They also bought a company called BK which used to produce an M6 bomb truck, whci i have been trying to get hold of for ages. matador doesn’t do this, but i have just sent a message with a recentr order asking if they will be doing it.
If your B-17 is UK based, this site has a good line of UK equipment also used by the USAAF. I plan on getting a bit of this stuff, but not ordered yet.

If anyone else knows of other items for 72nd aircraft dio’s i would love to know, as its really hard to find this stuff.
