AWWW its a cute little feller; you almost forget the legacy 737 was so short compared to the NG and on.
Seriously though, nice job of building; Quite looks the part.
Beautiful work!
Wow, I never realized Aurora even made any airliners. Nice build.
Thank you, Steve
Thank you, Greg
Oh yes, they made 737, 727, and probably DC-10 (not sure). They are very basic kits, but only game in town in 60s and 70s. I loved the fact that this was 1/72. Btw, both parents were born in Alexandria area.
Another beautiful Mudhen!
Nice job.
Thank you very much, sir
Yes, Aurora made a lot of 1/144 airliners in the early days. On the side panel of the box for their old DC-10 I recently built, they listed about a dozen models. Some of them were repeats, with only different markings, for example, the DC-10 was available in both United and National Airlines livery. Interesting to note that my United ship had the instructions for the National DC-10 in the box- and it was still factory sealed. Somebody not paying attention at the factory, I guess.
Nice build!
I had that kit but had an opportunity for a Doyusha 1/100 L-1011 so I sold it. Guy accepted my offer but never responded so no luck and no 737.
Thank you, sorry to hear about that.
Beautiful work and appreciate the workshop build snaps too
