1/700 - Who'da Thunk ?

Hi;

Just had to chime in here . I never thought I would have fun on 1/700 ships .These Krivack II that I have are actually fun ! I never thought that I could have fun like this on such teensy ships . Plus they are a modelers delight as far as molding too .

I looked over the models carefully and I do believe they are Skywave kits to start with . The delicacy with which masts and such are molded , came as a surprise . So I am happily modeling away , soon to have them finished .

Skywave has always made nice kits.

TB, you’ve got me. You say “I do believe they are Skywave kits to start with”. As far as I know the ONLY 1/700 Krivaks are Skywave(Pitroad). Does the box for yours have a different brand name? Did somebody else re-package them?

No repackage ! According to the very tiny readable print on the side . They are Skywave .

Lot,s of Chinese writing and then nothing .The Box looks like it was in water for a while .Surprisingly the decals were in a little bitty Ziploc type bag .
