1/6th Scale U.S. 1st Lt. Figure post.

Just a few shots of my latest figure. This is a 1/6th scale Dragon figure ‘Craig’. The face has been repainted in oils. Most all of the equiptment is drybrushed in acrylics and some straps replaced with real leather. Still a ‘work in progress’ as I’m awaiting some insignia and I’m working at improving the figures leggings.

Hope you enjoy.

right on man, right on … can i suggest some 5 o’clock shadow on the guy?

Very nice job, but is that one of them high detail historical GI Joes or a Model??? well what ever it is Its excellent.

First, thanks for all of your kind remarks.

Yes, Airbrush, This is a 1/6th scale, 12 inch tall, ‘action figure’ from Dragon. I tend to still think of them as models for the simple reason that I treat each seperate bit of equipment as a model and paint and detail it accordingly.
This photo shows the M1 carbine that I cleaned up ,repainted and rubbed with graphite. All of these techniques are the same as for smaller figures.

I’ve yet to finish the sling as I’m awating some more reference.

Hope you enjoy looking and maybe next time your at the hobby shop
take a closer look at a Dragon figure. With a little work they can be quite nice looking.
