Time for another larger update today.
Starting with her gloves I glazed the armor parts first, to finish that up. I then did the base coat for the gold parts of it.
Turning back to the torso, where thr bulk of the progress was made. I continued the work of building each layer of her armor. The last sections i feel the most proud of as I think I am really starting to get the more nuanced elements of glazing down. To finish the night off i base coated the metal armor bits on her chest piece.

Been a busy week and a half, and because of that I made the judgment call to try and power through on this figure to get her done. Still have a little touching up, but painting should be done.

So have a bit of a sad/frustrating update.
Worst part I had a feeling that this exact situation could occur, but chose to not pin the joint thinking with the thickness of the key it would be fine. I was wrong. Worse it was not the peg that popped out but rather it failed due to sheering, essentially causing the bond between the resin layers to fail. Fortunately the damage was not bad as I caught her as she fell so there was only some minor scuff on her gloves which is easily fix.
In the meantime I pinned and applied epoxy to the break. I will check her in the morning and remove the improvised brace i have supporting her.

The first pic looks like she stepped on her mobile

Take 4, after several failed attempts at getting this figure to stay I think I finally got her fixed. Had to use progressively increasing levels of restraining to get her standing, including getting stronger epoxy glue and a stronger and thicker metal pin. So hopefully she will not fall again. Going to leave her in the support stand I Mcguvered to keep her still till after the event on Saturday. Now just need to do some paint touch up and she will be good.
