1/6 Fantasy Warrior Jehn *Finished*

Your groundwork is looking very good. Was that grass applied with a static grass flock applicator?

No, its just the dust kind sprinkled over some modepodge matt.

Nice ground work. Face painting and ground work are still my weakest points.

Powered through and finished this girl up tonight.

Started by attaching the legs to the torso and letting the 5 minue epixy set up on them first. At this stage she is not attached to the base to allow for the natural settling and weight distribution. Plus makes it easier to get the rest of her together.

After this her head and arms were attached before permanently attaching her to the base.

End of the day I am happy with her. While I will not call her perfect, as there are a number of areas I feel I can improve in, for what amounts to a study I think she turned out very well. Plus for what started as saving parts that were technically failed prints I can not complain at all with the results.

I think you’ve done very well with it- certainly a large and imposing figure with some really eye catching details. The gold work stands out beautifully against the black and silver tones. The skin tones also catch the eye nicely leading the viewer toward that blue gemstone and up toward the face.

What a great result considering she was tossed in the bin just 3 months ago. Good job all around as none of the issues you encountered are noticeable on the finished figure.

True, granted if you were to look at her in person and got close im sure you could find something. But as i said im happy with the results.

Nice finish. Especially like the metallics and your technique on painting those blue gem stones. Well done!

ranger_chris, she looks amazing! I’m so glad that you decided to “save” this kit and power through with it. Your skin tone work looks fantastic. I still think that she looks like a piece of art from Frank Frazetta. Great job!

Got around to finally getting proper photos of this girl

Nice photos of this figure in front of a plain background to really focus on all the details you painted.
