Hi everybody I just finished my third build for my modern carrier flight deck
diorama I’m building , I hope you like the photos of these models , I’m about to start my 1/48th scale Grumman Prowler from Monogram to go with these planes , thanks for taking time to view my post !![:)]








to those of you who have seen those two other builds before I only took pics of them again with my intruder to see how they looked together .

Wow, very impressive. I know how difficult those were but my one gripe is that they are too clean.

Thankyou , Mike,Gunney,Rick,Chris,Joe,Swanny for the compliment reguarding the builds , I’m glad you enjoyed the photos of them and I appreciate the replies to my post , if any of you fellas read this how about giving me some weathering tips on how to make these planes look more realistic instead of that new clean look , what can be done ? please help .

I’ll second swanny’s comment. Those are beautiful! I can’t get my models to look that clean if i wanted to! Hehehe… [:D] What other planes do you have in mind for the diorama? How about an E-2C? Does anyone make this in 1/48? I know Heller used to make one in 1/72.

Great looking trio you’ve got there… if I’ve said it once I’ve said it a hundred times… I’m a sucker for those colorful high viz navy schemes. I can’t wait to see that dio.

Hey Shrikes & Lion Bron, there is a 1/48 E-2C kit available from Collectaire Models. Its a multi-media kit with the main parts cast is resin. Its pricey, though, at $229.00. Take a look at it on this web page. http://www.collectaire.com/modelpages/e2c/e2c.html.

I might scrape the money together to get one simply because it comes with decals for VAW-123, & I need one to cpomplete my CVW-1 collection.

By the way , nice work on the Intruder.

tomcat , however I don’t have a F-18 built ,Thanks also riverace for the compliment about the A-6 I really appreciate it .
