1/48 Zero

Good day all

This is my Tamiya 1/48 Zero it was a pleasure to build this kit,not one drop of filler, enjoy

Thank you

Mike

WOOHOO Mike. Dang thats purdy. Seriously… great job on that. Is thatthe new release?

That’s a sweet looking Zero Mike! You ought to be VERY proud of that one. [tup]

Thank you guys, yes that is the new one, its a sweet kit

Mike

That looks great!

Kinda dirty though. [;)]

I love the lines of the Zero. That aircraft and the Spitfire just look like they want to dance across the sky. Really great designs, both of them.

Nice Zero[tup]

Big Mike thats gorgeous. Really looks spot on. I love the weathering, its subtlty without going for the well used and abused look, with bare metal showing everywhere.

…Guy

P.s Dint you once have a Zero on the go, Frank?

Busted! Yes, I did. Got put on the back burner for two Corsairs and a PBY. [:I]

Ha HA!!! Im like an elephant…Big and fat and grey, err…no i mean, i never forget…and have a huge trunk [;)]

Very nice job! I’m hoping to find that very kit under my Christmas tree on 25-Dec from my lovely bride.

That is superb. I agree the weathering is really nice. Not overdone.

Mike, you have helped me decide waht to build next. When I finish the251/17 half track for the GB, all my GB commitments will be over for the time being.

I think I may just build an airplane[:O]

I think I may just build THIS airplane[:P]

and try out my new riveter

SHe’s an awesome looking Zero, Mike! Impeccible job, especially the dirt/oxidation around the cowl![tup][tup][tup]

I like it, especially the weather. In one of the shots it looks like the prop is loose though.

Thank you all for the kind words,

hkshooter; you have a good eye the prop was not pushed on all the way its sorted now.

Thank you all

Mike

Great looking Zero! Just the right weathering for my liking. Great detail on the cockpit too. You really done it!
