1/48 Tiger II progress....

Ready for the base coat! Wish me luck!

And yes, my photography skills suck. [B)] I’m working on it. Lighting is on the list.

Apparantly, my picture posting skills suck too. cut and paste the friggin thing and it still wont show the pic. Thanx webshitz! [xx(]Nothing a quick switch to photobucket wont fix![:)]

I can see the pix!
Looking good! Nice work on the extra details.
This is the 1/48 Bandai Tiger II, yes?
Ah, the memories…that’s one of the first armor kits I ever built, over 30 years ago. And one of the first ones I painted and weathered (or tried to!). Here’s a pic I took of that ooooold build recently:

Not too bad for a 9-year-old, eh?[;)]
And I still love Panzer Gray to this very day!

Keep us posted with your outstanding build!

You know what Brian, that REALLY ain’t too bad for a nine year old.

Steve

Looks good so far! Will you be able to put the tracks on with the fenders in place? Are the tracks one-piece’ers?

Glenn

Its actually a Fuman branded kit. Not sure if thats before or after the bandai, but whatever. I’ve had it in my small stash for a few years and figured it was time. Its more of a skills test for myself than anything else. Its really not a bad kit, but the tracks lack detail. I liked working on the interior, maybe I’ll doa really complete interior later on.

The tracks will go on with the fenders in place, thankfully.

I plan on the basecoat later tody, the camo color and decals tomorrow, then onto the shelf it goes.

Ah yes, the Fuman kit is a copy of the old Bandai kit. You’re right: not a bad kit at all!
I think there may be some aftermarket tracks available in 1/48 for that kit.
