I’ve heard LOTS about this kit in terms of fit and over all engineering and almost all of the builds that I’ve seen threads on have comments similar to yours in regard to the building experience. Some great work went into this one as seen in the end results.

It’s a fantastic kit, but the resin nose I used needed sanding down to fit, but if you do the kit OOB you will be impressed for sure.

Best engineered kit … it’s why I have 1 each of their 3 P-38 releases. I have long been frustrated with the various Lightnings I have built over my lifetime, for a number of reasons but primarily fit.
Beautiful work on your P-48. Love those OD schemes with the wavy demarcation line between the grey and green.
