1/48 Tamiya Corsair parts needed

Greetings,

I am having a problem with this kit. If you read my other thread, you will know why. I just thought of a possible solution. I was wondering if anyone out there has any Corsair spare parts. Specifically, I need the six parts that are needed to join the wings together. This would be the easiest way to save a model I have spent approx one year building.

Does anyone know if you can get extra parts from Tamiya?

You should be able to order the sprue/s for those parts from Tamiya.

tamiya has excellent parts replacement programs

Look in the instruction sheet of your model. Tamiya usually has a customer service card that you can send them to order parts.

Tamiya will forward replacement parts, if you quote the number’s on the instruction sheet relating to the kit parts, just email them the info and they will reply within a day.
