Has anyone built the 1/48 F-16XL with the Attic conversion kit?

Shoot, I thought that you had found a complete kit of this plane in 1/48th, not a conversion kit. Looks like you need an F-5E kit to use with this conversion.

As far as I know, there are no 1/48th kits of the X-29. Hasegawa makes a great 1/72nd scale kit of it, though. Too bad no one manufactures a 1/48th scale X-29. I would certainly buy it.

Yeah, that looks a little sparse to be a complete kit.

It looks like a very good conversion kit though! I already have a 1/48 scale italeri f-5 kit! All i need is the conversion!!! I’m making plans to buy one soon!

monogram made the 1/48 scale kit of the x-29 ack in 88, i know cause i had purchased 2 of the kits, but alas, i sold my collection when i got divorced.

Are you sure about this? I have the ATTIC conversion set. Shawn G.

Nope! Monogram did not make a 1/48 X-29. They did, however, make an F-20. There was an article in FSM back in the late 80’s of a guy who kitbashed and scratchbuilt a 48th X-29.

Ok, that sounds better, lol. I have finished the Attic conversion set, I will post pics. The decals were shite. Shawn G
