1/48 Revell F-15C vs. Aires resin exhaust

This is an esoteric question to be sure, but has anyone ever tried to fit the Aires F-15C resin exhausts (intended for the Hasegawa kit) to the Revell F-15C?

I’m contemplating this very exercise, but I don’t actually have a Revell F-15C in front of me to tell how bad an idea this is. Usually cockpits can be made to fit between manufacturers, but the exhausts are obviously in full view and won’t handle of bunch of grinding and sanding.

Just curious if anyone has been down this road.

I’m using the Aires Featherless exhaust on a old Monogram F-15C, no fit problems, even though they are supposed to be for the F-15E. Aires now has two part numbers, one for the C and the other for the E. I think they are the same castings.

Interesting…
