My task is to build the aircraft of the US Navy just prior to the outbreak of WW II. I have been able to assemble a number of the models I need, but the BT-1 is yet the most elusive. Does anyone know of a BT-1 in 1/48 scale?
if I remember correctly, there was a conversion of the old Monogram, now Revell SBD Dauntless, in an old issue of FSM you might want to see if you coud find the article and go from there
As for a stand alone kit of the BT-1, the only one I know is a new one in 72nd scale, I’ve never seen one in 48th
Wings 48 makes a vacuform 1/48 BT-1 kit.
