1/48 Minicraft Beechcraft Bonanza

Decent kit except for the side window clear pieces, they did not want to fit without a struggle lol. The kit came with a conventional tail option but I think the V-tail look is cooler

Good result from what I remember to be a so-so kit. White is a tough colour, what was your process for the white? Curious about the registration letters and if you just used the kit supplied code or maybe the letters mean something personal? The reason I ask is because as far as I know, Canadian aircraft have either C-G*** or C-F***, ultra-lights C-I***.

Regardless, it doesn’t detract at all from the finished kit and most people wouldn’t know the difference.

Honestly, i think i just used the slanted font decals cause they looked cooler :face_savoring_food: The paint is just spray can rustoleum from the hardware store, they had a slightly warm white, ivory color that looked good on a civilian plane.

Great looking build.

When I was about 3 or 4, my grandfather took me up in a plane with a tail configuration like your Bonanza. I can’t say if that aircraft was a Bonanza, but it is certainly similar to the plane that I took a ride on.

Great looking plane! I love it when the Bonanza Club flies into Oshkosh for the annual E.A.A. celebration each Summer.

I too love this build and have flown in (passenger) a Bonanza. Nice blast to the past!
