The kit was 95% built from the box, however I rescribed all the panel lines which were originally raised.
I was not aware there was an AM cockpit set available until I had pretty much closed up the kit. I installed a spare panel from an old F-105 in the pit just to replace the original decal, but its a moot point since you cannot see in anyhow.
If anything I would have liked to have a good set of AM Afterburner cans because those big old nozzles just beg for detailing…but alsa none are available and my scratchbuilding skills are non-exixtant.
Nice job,I really like that. What kind of details comes with the kit?I have been thinking of buing one just because I have always liked the looks of the foxbat.Great work cj,Digger.
Sweet looking Foxbat. The MiG-25 was really a significant aircraft in Soviet aviation history. I built that kit way back in the late 70s/early 80s when it first came out. There’s not much in the way of detail, as there wasn’t much real information available, but it did look sinister…It’s too bad that Revell (or anybody else) ever released an updated version of the kit.
