One of my favourite builds from 2023, Meng’s Hornet. The kit isn’t engineered for wheels up so I had to modify the gear doors to get them shut, otherwise a good kit, but I think their Phantom is a better kit.

How did this one go,its on my list for this year,I want to use the Lucky Aces version.
Overall impressions,any heads-ups?

Goes together well, the only issues I had were because I did wheels up as mentioned, so I can’t comment on landing gear on it.

How in the world did I miss this one??!! Weird how it wasn’t engineered for wheels up as even the AMT aircraft kits manage to make their aircraft kits to be built either way with no issues.
A very good turnout, especially given the fact that you had to pull off some fancy footwork to make this a “wheels up” bird @Grant_Dalzell .
