Final review for this year, we will be closing things out by looking at Hobby Boss’ 1/48th scale F-105D Thunderchief kit.

Ranger_Chris, I’ll be following this build closely since the F-105 is one of my favorite jet aircraft. I’ll be curious how it compares to the venerable 1/48 Revell/Monogram kit from many years ago. Merry Christmas.

Unfortunately its a case of two steps forward one step back. Nether is perfect as both have their own issues. Big thing is availability, with the revell not having a recent re-release the Hobby Boss is the only reliable option to find. However if you can find the revell you can save money as they tend to be significantly cheaper.
