Real straightforward question here. When it comes to a 1/48 EF2000, which is better, Revell or Italeri? I’ve been pleased and let down by both companies. Any input is greatly appretiated. [:D]
The “new” Revell of Germany release #4568.

The RoG kit. It’s a well-detailed, accurate, inexpensive kit of the production version, with loads of underwing stores. The Italeri kit is a pretty basic kit of the pre-production version.
Cheers,
Chris.
Yep, get the RoG version, check the boxing number mentioned for the real deal. Watch the intakes area, that’s about the only hiccup on the kit.
Revell of Germany it is. Thanks for the input guys!!![#toast]
dont get the italeri, im in the middle of one and if i did not have PE in it i would have thrown it al the wall a long time ago[banghead]
You want product #04568. Anything else may be a re-pop of the Italeri kit which, as has been mentioned, is best avoided. To give you some idea of what you get with the RoG kit, here’s a pdf file of the instruction sheet (large-ish file coming up):

Chris.
