1/48 EDUARD BF 110G-2 - 4./ZG 76, PRAGUE, CZECHOSLOVAKIA - SPRING,1944

Like the Eduard Mirage IIIC, the BF 110 is not the greatest kit fit wise,(nose and engine nacelles), once I got beyond the filling sanding re-scribing stage, that is when I enjoyed it. I love German splinter and mottling camo.

I used Gunze Enamel and Acrylics for the camo work. Also used Tamiya and Vallejo and Italeri acylics, AK enamel wash, Flory dark dirt wash and Vallejo matte varnish.

Pretty happy with the final look, knowing the trouble I had with the kit.

Good lookin’ 110. I’ve always had a soft spot for those G variants. Tough lookin’ birds.

Nice looking build, like the paint job.

I never really know what to say about your builds, Grant. To me they are almost the epitome of what an perfect model should look like. Every one is a complete work of fine art.

Brilliant, as always.

Cheers Mike, thanks for the encouraging words

Thanks guys

I really how you did the Splinter Camoflauge! Perfectionist is the word that comes to mind when I see your builds.

Wow what a great looking kit. You would never know you had some issues

Nice! Well done.

Oh wow, that’s a great build!

Very nice rendition, Grant.

Really inspiring work, Grant.

It’s always a good feeling to have ‘toughed it out’ and overcome a kit or project that seems determined to fight you at every step! (I often find myself muttering under my breath to whatever current project is ‘fighting me’ tooth and nail, “____ it! I’m trying to make you magnificent…”)

Well done!

Absolutely stunning build…and this is not an easy kit. Thanks for sharing.
