In all seriousness, they typically work by using a shaft within a shaft arrangement that has one shaft turned in the opposite direction by planetary gears. In that way they can be both driven off the same engine.
I have no idea either but I bet it inspired many a food processing unit. [:P]

Very impressive looking Seafire. I always considered this one of the better looking marks of the venerable Spitfire.
out standing stuff is this custom kit are made form a recent kit like the double blades up front that turn counter clockwise.
