Verlinden makes 1/35 scale Razor and Barbed wire each are photoetched sets. Depending on how many you need it can get expensive.

You can make your own from fine wire or replacement window screen cut into strips. FSM has an article on making your own check the FSM magazine article index. It is in one of the early 80’s issues.

As far as 1/35 scale chain link fence. I do not know of any manufactured products.
You can make your own from mourning veil. It is a material that you will find in the fabric section or fabric store. It is used by dressmakers to make veils for weddings or widows. It is fairly cheap to buy .
To make a chain link fence. Lay the material out with the pattern forming the diamond shapes of the fence. Cut the sections in long strips like the real thing. Use plastruct tubing or similar styrene shapes for the fence posts or uprights. Glue the “fence” to the uprights. Remember to thread the tension pieces in to the sides, top and bottom. if you look at a real fence you will see how this is done. Use lead foil or wine bottle foil to make the post connectors that tension the sections. Lead foil cuts well on a flat piece of glass I find. Best advice look at the real thing or photograph the details and work from them. That way you end up with a “real” fence in miniature.

I hope this helps.

Here in Australia you can buy Tuele (the stuff for veils) from a fabric shop that actually has the chain wire effect, not a just flat diamond shape, the strands of the fabric are zigzag and interlocked like real chain wire - look for some of that over there.

Most PE barbed wire and the flyscreen mesh method is single strand (one length of wire with barbs), but there is one company that makes 2 strand look wire that I have seen, but it is far from cheap. Can’t rememeber the name though.

If you have patience you can make your own from filiment wire - very thin copper wire used in small wiring for electrical components - the trick is getting it out of the vinyl sheath without breaking the strands. Get a long piece of timber and put a nail in each end. Tie two strands of wire to one nail, twist the wires to get the right twisted effect then tie the wires off to the other nail. Pinch the wire at the end then draw your fingers back and forth to get the wire to hold the twist.

To make the barbs twist 2 strands of wire held together around the long wire lengths 3 times and trim the ends. Twist the outer wire of the barb at each end back 180 degrees go you have a barb at each end facing away from its opposite barb, and trim those back to length. Repeat. When all the barbs are set, a touch of cyano will hold them in place. It is best to do this whilst in front of the TV, so you won’t go insane!

I’ve seen the stuff Peter is speaking of and that’s perfect. His suggestion on how to make B-wire is killer also. You could always try here.

Oops sorry, I thought it had a scale closer to 1/35…still cool looking though!!!

I had an old screen door to the back slider of my house. The screen was a mesh of some sort. I once used it to simulate chain link fencing in a 1/48th dio. Might work for 1/35th. Something to look into anyway!

Get some suitable wire like florists wire and litterally build your fence like real it will look amazing though very time consuming.
