Hi,
one item lacking from 1/350 scale is aircraft stores such as missiles, tanks etc. For all of us building 1/350 modern carriers etc this is a must and no one seems to do them . perhaps too difficult to do

Hi ;
I don’t think it’s about difficulty .I think it’s about the sheer production and development time for the molds . Plus the cost involved for them .Do you realize that this material would be carrier specific to the mfgrs.?
This thread seems to have a solution to the problem: cs.finescale.com/…/163775.aspx .
It would certainly follow that Squadron-accurate decals would be next.
Hey all I just happen to be searching Shapeways for 1/700 stuff and there is a guy that has 1/350 aircraft ordinance. Its called Kokoda Trail Models
Has anyone purchased any of those ordinance prints? I’ve seen them on Shapeways and am intrigued but didn’t want to spend money if they’re no good.
I ordered a set from the finescale thread-Click2Detail. They took quite a while to arrive (6 weeks to 2 months or so?) but the website says to expect several weeks. I am quite pleased with the drop tanks and ordnance I got. It’s all in semi clear plastic so it’s tough to make out the surface details, but they look good to me. I have no experience or knowledge of the Kokoda ones.
There are some 1/350 decals out there, generally you get a whole airwing with a set and they are cruise specific. Starfighter decals makes some and I thought I saw some on GMM a while back for an Enterprise cruise.

Hey ROB :
I have seen some too . I don’t know about 1/700 except one , but , There are some out for 1/350 and yes , they are cruise or air - wing specific . I did get a set for my 1/700 Franklin . Not bad but hard on the eyes .
