Looks pretty good. The gear looks shiney though, it may need another coat of dullcote. The front turn signals need to be amber. The upper half of the circles should be amber, not left sand. Your fuel cans are all missing their handles too. Good job on the TCs gun mount. The water can on the turret rear should be either sand or black. They did come in green, but it is not common to see green ones any more. Pretty good so far, keep us posted.

Would be a bit hard trying to pick up jerry cans without handles … just missed them completley.

I have’nt sprayed dullcote yet as i am still putting on decals and minor finishes. Anyway all that you picked up on have been corected.

I just picked up one of those today at my LHS. How’d the build go? Any major trouble spots? Any tips?! How did you paint the clear lens’ for the periscopes…or what colour did you paint them? Your model looks great, hope mine turns out the same.

Hey jhawk The build went great very little trouble at all. I painted the lens Tamiya Clear Blue.

The stowage is Tamiya Military Accessories and the Cmdrs MG is from the weapons set is out of Dragons Modern Marines figures set.

I have another kit i am going to do in AusCam ( Australian ) colors

The kit does not include the commander’s machine gun, nor the mantlet-mounted coax MG. Also, there are braces for the wire cutters to be mounted on the hull and turret, but no wire cutters are included with the kit.

Dissappointing they missed these features, especially the machine guns.
