This is my completed Tamiya Tiger I Mid. It is my first of two builds for the “Steel Cats” GB. I used these photos as my inspiration:

That is some Battle Weary tank, I like it…cheers…Kenny
Brilliant super realistic. I love the overall appearance and the base blends seamlessly with the tank. Your weathering is also first class. Congrats on a masterpiece. Terry
Beautiful work… but did you forget the travel lock (B19,B24)?
Very nice work Steve. The mud looks great
Thanks again for participating in the Steel Cats build. Your work is always inspiring. Love that whitewash finish with the dirt.
I’d say you captured the look very nicely Steve, excellent work! [B]
Outstanding build! Excellent weathering, love the details like how you pulled the rust stain down from the spare track on top of the turret.
Mike
Oh HELL YEAH! I like this.Well done.
Good looking Tiger. The mud is well done. It is missing the travel lock however.
Excellent looking build!!! Nice Work!!!
That is some great weathering on that. Great work.
Guys: A collective thank you to everyone for all of your kind words…In fact, I received so many replies that I hope you don’t mind that I copied this collective thank you from the Steel Cats GB[whstl]… It’s really nice to complete a build and then get some kudos to boot! Your comments noted many of the things I spent a lot of time on to get right…thank you for taking notice. To those that had some specific comments/ questions:
Byrden/ Bronto: I didn’t forget the travel lock, I just didn’t like it. I did notice several ref photos didn’t have the lock either (probably different Tiger versions) . Thanks for picking up on the exclusion…good to know you “got my back”[Y]
Buckeye: Ooooooo!..you noticed the puilled stain from the spares on the turret…I thought it added a nice touch of color…thanks for your KEEN EYES[:|]
Well, that Tiger would have been built with the lock, but sometimes the crew would remove it; in which case only 2 small welded rectangles would remain.
David
Steve top notch job buddy , love the paint, weathering and groundwork. Super job as always
SMJ!
Nicely done sir! Nicely done. I have been, and continue to be, in awe of your skills!
Fantastic work all the way around! I know you added the 55 gallon drums because of the photo, but I love the interest they add. [Y]

Bodge/ bbrowniii/ Stage_Left/ Rambo/ Ripcord: Hey…Thanks for the comments guys. Stage_Left: I 've always liked the photo with the fuel drums so I had to try it…I think it adds a unique look, glad you like it too!
