1/35 scale in perspective

Working on a Tamiya M4A3E23 tank model, and it came with figures and accoutrements, including this M1916 holster. Although I am not using them for this build, thought I would paint the holster up as practice and use it to get a better idea of just what 1/35 scale means in the real world. Here you go…

Ha. In the first picture I thought I was seeing a loose thread on the full size holster. Although I have built for many years, I’ve never really compared something like this. It certainly is eye opening.

Man, Ron, I knew it was small but side by side it looks tiny! It’s a 35th of the size of the real thing, so… :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

And that’s why I avoid 1/72 and stick to 1/35,could you imagine !!!
