Other then ebay does anyone know where I can purchase a 1/35 M24 Chaffee Tank kit? I saw that Italeri had a kit but is no longer in production.

If it’s currently OOP, you’re options are model contests/shows or Ebay.
If there are any hobby or toy/hobby stores in your area, hit them all. Occasionally you will find some old gems in the dust on some forgotton shelf. If they have a kit consignment area or a bulletin board to post a want ad upon. Garage sales, swap meets…
WOW! Can’t believe this kits is OOP. As far as I know its the only 1/35 plastic kit of the Chaffee. Have you tried looking for the older Revell packaging of this kit? Italeri partnered with Revell to sell many kits like the M24. All they did was change the boxes, the parts are exactly the same. One thing though, the Revell M24 is the post-war version with the rubber chevron tracks. Italeri released an “early” version M24 that has the WWII all steel tracks. Both tracks are hard vinyl junk IMO and I’d replace them with AM tracks. Hope this helps!
It’s quite common for Italeri to shut down production on a kit for a while then put it back in the catalog.
If you do ever find a Chaffee out there I would whole heartedly suggest you buy the Formations update kit to go along with it …Worth every penny .
