1/35 CyberHobby Pz. II Ausf. F hull fit issues...

I’ve been working on and off of this little gem for several months now and this weekend I was going to finally attach the lower hull tub to the upper decking when I noticed a horrible fit issue- the front barely fits and if securely glued down, then there is a nasty rising gap all the way back to the rear body.

Anybody build this and encounter the same thing?

I’m wonder if gluing it down in stages will impart a bowed aspect to the upper deck…

(sorry, I can’t post any pics as I’m at ‘work’ right now)

Hi Dre.

I finished mine several months ago and I had no fit issues at all. I had finished and painted the interior and installed the tracks before putting the lower and upper hull together, so I don’t really know what is going on. I did do lots of test fitting to see if any interior parts would be in the way as I went along. I don’t recall having any fit problems during that time. Sorry I couldn’t help.

I’ve already ground down the right side drive differential thingy and the upper hull still doesn’t fit so good… back onto the backburner she goes.[:(]
