1/35 cutom decal sheets?

Hey guys I am looking for some 1/35 custom decal sheets? Does anyone know of someplace who makes that type of thing? I am looking for various size red medical crosses. For both helo’s and armor.

They are easy to make on your computer. Testors, among others, sells ink-jet and laser-jet water-slide decal paper. All you need to do is design the decal on your computer in whatever your favorite graphics program is. Print them onto the appropriate paper for your printer, and seal the decal paper with a spray acrylic sealer, I use Krylon Krystal Clear. That is is, now apply the decals as you would any other water-slide decals. It is really simple, I do it all the time. Give it a try, you will be amazed how easy it is and how good it comes out.

Yep, easy to make. I made a NASCAR race car for my father in law and scanned a bunch of his work logos and made my own. I did not have a color printer, so I went to Kinkos and used their color laser printer. Color Ink jets didn’t work on the paper I used

no kidding! I have heard of making your own but i was under the impression you needed big dollar equipment. Can I get the paper at my LHS or Michaels?

I bought my paper at the LHS. I think I saw a “make your own decal” kit at Super Wal-Mart, but it has been a while. Michael’s I doubt would have it. You can definitely order it from any of the big online companies

I just called the LHS and now I just need to find some red crosses in jpeg format online someplace so I can make it work in photoshop. THanks for all your help guys.

Unknownpharoah,
You can actually make what you need in PowerPoint, MSPaint or some other graphics program. It doesn’t need to be done in Photoshop. I make most of mine myself, unless it is something complicated then I sometimes copy it from the web, but I still usually put it in PPT (easier to resize and position on the page) to print after I have manipulated it in paint or photoshop. You will find that some of the more obscure programs are really useful. For example, I found that I can make great modern bumper numbers with a Rugrats Gift Card program of my kids’. It goes down to a font of 2 and has all sorts of stencils and other fonts. Never know where you will find stuff to use for modelling.

Good luck.
