Anybody out there have any ideas or techniques for scratch building 1/35 barbed wire? I’ve been struggling with this for a while now. I know it’s out there in photo etch, but that’s a little pricey for me
There is a good tutorial on Armorama.
Hey wing_nut, thank you so much for that link. It’s a bit tedius, but way easier than everything else I’ve seen.I’ll be giving it a try.thanks again.
You may want to just get some door screen, pick a line and trim down both sides with a pair of scissors so that just a little sticking out on each of those sides and push those back over themselves. Then take a piece of dowel or something just as round and wind it around ( go with a smaller diameter than what you want due to the spring in the metal). I have tried both the tutorial given here and this technique and it looks just as good and a fraction of the time. Good luck

Why not buy Eduard? $10.99 isn’t do much.#

Thanks icit, i actually tried that method and discovered that only thing holding the screen together was the weave so it basically fell apart, maybe wrong kind of screen? Since then I’ve used a roll of nylon mesh they sell for patching drywall ,looked ok but I still wanna try the method in the video
