I did even know revell ever issued this kit. I just happened to be looking through some 1/32 listings and I could not believe my eyes. I love twin engine 1/32 scale models. I also have the Revell Me 110C in 1/32 scale. Did anyone ever build on of these “back in the day”"? There was only one bid on it abnd the action was almost over . I got a bid in on it with ten seconds left ! Sorry to the guy I snagged it from but I had to have it Just don’t know where I’m going to put it when it is build.[?][?][?]

I have never built it but I have one of these as well as their Beaufighter and Me-110 in my stash, Other than the surface detail being typical of the times the kits always looked nice to me and I hope to builf them all when I have the room !
Ah, yes! I have built three of these in years gone by. The kit is very basic by today’s standards and there are many errors on it, not least of which is the incorrect profile of the rears of the engine nacelles, but when built and corrected, it is a great model. Be prepared to do much work to get it to look right. Sorry, I have no pictures to show. Look for as many reference picyures as possible before you start. Paragon did make a set of replacement resin bits and pieces for these models, and I understand that these may well be available again soon from the company who took over the moulds.
Thanks for the replies. I guess anytime you decide to tackle something that big you should definetly put aside a lot of time for it. I guess thats why a model like these are called “PROJECTS**”!!!**
You can just build a new tamiya or hasegawa models. These large scale old models definelty have to be worked over to get a great looking model. You have to challenge yourself sometimes buy building a non mainstream kit or older kit to keep your skills sharp. Not that I don’t appreciate Tamiya or Haegawa’s beautiful fit. These models fit is soo good they don’t really challenge your skills .

How Much Did the auction END At for this Mosquito? Where did it stop before it got more than you wanted to Pay for it?
I built one back in the Day before Tamagawa Kits. Recently I found an Original NIB one in My Daddy’s Old Kits. My Dismay is that my searches for AM PE Detail Frets and Resin Parts to Update, Detail and Trick it out have come up Empty. SO I still Have it NIB. I would have loved to get it together too, cuase I rember it and it’s Hot sitting on the Shelf. ASk Cliff Robertson Squadron 556 !

That was the beauty of it. There was only a couple of minutes left in the auction when I stumbled upon it. I don’t think andone was watching it accept for the guy with the high bid. I think it was at fourty dollars. I popped in a bid of sixty dollars when there was only a minute left. The other guy was only jumping up his bids a dollar at a time. By the time he did all of that keypunching he ran out of time. It finally ending up getting it for 52.50$. I don’t know if thats a good price or not. I had nothing to compare it to. I just had to have it anyway.
