1/32 Revell F4U-1A Corsair

Another kit from a couple years back. Rather basic kit but not completely terrible. Can’t directly compare to either the Tamiya or Trumpeter kits, though will save for the cost you can not complain too much. Recommend it as a good first 32nd scale kit to learn working with these large birds. Finished with Mr. Color paints.

That’s a great looking Jolly Rogers bird Chris. Nice n’ tidy lines on the camo borders and a great first attempt in 32nd scale. I really wished I had the room to display large scale aircraft like this as there are so many cool subjects available in this scale.

Yeah its a bit of a rabbit hole

An oldie but surely a goodie!

You’ve done an amazing job with this classic kit. I’ve said it before but these vintage kits in the hands of a master builder can look very good when they’re built up.

Agree, one of the reason I like doing box reviews of some of these older kits as it help bring attention to them and the fact that despite their age many of them still hold up and can easily be built into fantastic models.

That’s a great looking build! I tend to build older kits.

Very neat and clean Corsair, its been many moons since i built one I really enjoyed building 1/32 Revell props and jets.

Great looking Corsair, well done!
Love the Revell 1/32 kits. I first built this kit in mid 1970’s with the “Baa Baa Blacksheep” Pappy Boyington edition. Still got most of the pieces of it in my modelling room.
