Hi Guys
I heared that Trumpeter is working on a 1/32 A-6 Intruder Kit. Can anyone confirm this?? How awsome would that be!!! If they do make it I’m sure a EA-6B Prowler should come along soon after. SWEEEET!!![:D][:p]

As long as they learned from Monogram’s oversights in trying to turn an Intruder into a Prowler, it ought to be pretty swell…
Yes, I posted several months ago (with pix) that Trump was working on a 1/32 A-6. It was from a Model Graphix article about the Trump factory, and it showed the prototype forms for the A-6 being created. The A-6, like a bunch of other stuff, has been announced for a while by Trumpeter.
Here’s hoping we see it soon!
It will be huge. Personally, I’d rather see a new tool 1/48 kit to replace the elderly & hard to find Monogram kit.
Regards, Rick
you gotta remember that the 1/48 scale A-6 was already big but when the 1/32 scale A-6 comes out it will dwarf the 1/32 scale F-105 and the 1/32 scale A-10.
Im with rjk, I would like to see tamiya or has do a 1/48 scale intruder, it would be a huge seller.
you think any of us can afford a Tamiya or Hasegawa A-6 ?
If hasegawa or tamiya produced a new-tool 1/48 Intruder I think a lot of folks would find the money from somewhere, I know I would!
One thing I do know the 1/32 kit will cost a fortune, certainly more than a 1/48 kit. I have the old monogram kit in my stockpile which I plan to re-scribe and re-fit with loads of aftermarket goodies one day, however that day is a long way off. It would be very tempting for many of us to buy a up to date kit in a larger scale, to save a lot of work. Will I buy it? Maybe…
of course if Hasegawa made a 1/32 scale A-6 I probably will buy it because sometimes their 1/32 scale kits are cheaper than the 1/48 scale ones.
I’m on board for a new 1/48 A-6. I’ve got the Hasegawa rebox of the Revell kit on my shelf, picked it up while I was living in Okinawa. I had been looking for one for a while and when I saw it, well, I had to go home, get my yen and race back to get it before it vanished into the mists again.
1/32? Man, that’s going to be a ginormous bird!
Yeah - I’m with Sparkyvark, Tango and LemonJello…
As much as I’d love to see a 1/32 Intruder (and how much would THAT cost?), let’s see a nice, new Tamiya, Hasegawa or Fujimi Intruder.
How cool would that be?
I would like a new house with a bigger room to display a 1/32nd Intruder.
I’ll add my voice to the chorus calling for a good 48 scale Intruder. The 32 would be nice, but I will will not pay 150 bucks or whatever for another one of Trumpeter’s “Hero Projects”.
Bah!!! It’s only paper with numbers on it!!!
Anything new in 32nd scale (or 24th) and I’m all over it…and no, I don’t get any discounts, I pay retail just like everyone else!
Jeff
Sure, sure, we believe you Jeff. (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)
And if you send me some paper with numbers on it… well, I’ll probably still use it to buy something else, or several somethings.
