1/32 Ground Crew

Is there such thing as the Hasegawa US Ground Crew 1:48 (picture below) but in 1:32? I have searched around and seems that this scale is quite forgotten in this aspect. I finished my Tamiya 1/32 F16 CJ and I want to spice up the display. Just got from Verlinden a modern pilot but other than that is quite frustrating.

Can’t say for sure that there isn’t, at least in resin somewhere, but there isn’t anything like that in an injection-molded set that I know of… How are you at figure mods? You could get away with using 1/35th figures though… There’s a number of “mechanic” sets out there that could be modified…

Thanks a lot for your reply Hans. I’ve never done a figure mod but there is always a 1st time. If you could give me some pointers on the figures, I’m open to give it a try. Is a shame there is no injection molded sets. Don’t know how popular is 1/32, but the truth is I’m getting hooked with it but lack of accessories is keeping me at bay. Another set like the Skunk Models Workshop NATO set would be great in 1/32, just day dreaming.

Thanks again mate.

I’d be happy to help ya out… I modify figures for about everything, its rare that you get one in the box that’s “Just Right”… So I “Frankenstein” everything…

We can just go back-channel (Start Conversation) for trading info… Just lemme know when you have the figures you want…

Thanks for willing to help me Hans. I will take a short break with quick builds but I’ll be back to you with tons of questions.

Thanks a lot mate.

No Sweat…

There are a few ground crew figures in 1/32 in resin from Master Details.

Could be a US grondcrewman with a hat change.

The also have a bunch of seated pilot figures.

I agree with Hans as well. You can easily use 1/35 figures with 1/32 aircraft. Some of the mechanic figures or figures in BDUs for modern groundcrewmen will work great. About all you would have to change is to add a bare head (or one w/earphones) and shave off any suspenders and gear.
