This is Fisher Model’s 1/32 Skyray OOB. I love building Fisher kits, as they are almost like building an injection molded kit, even though they’re resin kits. This one was a bit trickier than most Fisher kits. The intakes didn’t seem to fit and there were gaps between the intakes and the fuselage. However, a little epoxy putty and all was solved. Overall, it’s a beautiful kit. I don’t know how Paul Fisher does it!

What’s the weight of a model like that in resin? Must be fairly hefty.
It definitely has some heft to it. I was very concerned about the landing gear, as they are all in resin. The front gear especially seems fragile, but it has held up…even when I dropped it!
Cool !! A 1/32 model with landing gear that can take the in-scale stress of a landing.
That is another very nice build, Darren. You must be enjoying the fairly recent explosion of 1/32 Navair subjects that aren’t Phantoms or Tomcats? (back in the day, F-4 and F-14 were the only Navair kits in the scale)

Naval aircraft are supposed to take that kind of abuse. Glad to see the kit manufacturer replicated it well! Very nice!
