FYI, the Trumpeter 1/32 F-14D is a real treat and is a good kit to go nuts on. One of their best kits IMO.

I really can’t see how you can improve the Growler beyond where it is, which is awesome.
Watch the various online sales for a deal on the F-14D- you might be able to save a few ducats off the usual high price.
The exterior part looks complete but wheel well , avionics and cockpit are still missing detail …that’s the problem with large scale aircraft you can see almost everything when you look up-close [8-|]
Then you’ll love the F-14D… a great big canopy to look through. I highly recommend the Aires cockpit set to replace the relatively bland kit parts. That’s really the only AM that I’d say is “needed”.
