1:32 Bf109 G14 in Eric Hartmann's Markings

Model is the Hasegawa kit, painted using pre and post shading techniques.

Media: Gunze and Tamiya Acrylics. RLM 74/75/76

Weathering has been done with lightened mixtures of the above colours as well as streaks using a very diluted black and brown mixture.

Matte coat is a mixture of Tamiya Matte and Future mixed in a ratio of 1:7

I like the effect of your method. The colors are nicely muted and the weathering is just right. I love the subject. I’m about 95% finished with a Tamiya 1/48 109-G6. It is also Hartmann’s steed done in a winter camo.

Thanks for sharing.

NICE! THe weathering looks right on.

That is a stunning 109! I like your weathering effects, very subtle. You did a splendid job on this kit, hope the 1/32 G-10 I am building looks half as good. [bow]

“Bubi” would be proud. Wonderful job. If I may be so bold as to add a correction, there should be a wave stripe across the yellow band on the aft fuselage in yellow with a white outline. The same yellow color as the band.

I knew Erich, he went by “Bubi” to those he was close to. If you want to know more, read, “The Blond Knight of Germany” by Tolliver and Constable.

Outstanding… Simply stunning my Friend!!

Beautifull job on this one. Love the black Tulip. Did you spray it on or was it a decal. Ive had gripes with those bleeding Tulips in the past. On 1/32 id spray the thing. Did you?

Beauty!

These are the kit decals. This kit was built Out of the box with all kit markings. Only accessories were the brake lines, antennae wire and seat belts.

Sweet looking build.

Frank we should invite him into the Reich Defender GB. But then he would probably show us up.[(-D]

Flawless and beautiful build!
