1/32 1939 Bugatti Tank 57C #1 Winner 24 Heures du Mans Driven by Jean-Pierre Wimille

I do like this. Never heard of these models before. Love the old Bugattis. A nice looking job on an interesting event. Your figure modeling is pretty good as well.

Thank you MechTech,

The kit is from LeMans Miniatures from a small French manufacture. They make resin slot cars, but the details are all there with photo-etch parts and very accurate. One of those multi-media kit.

The figure is also from them. rather rough in the raw form. Took a while to get it sanded and smooth things out.

I hope this help,

The car itself is obviously nice, but the fig is fantastic.

Great looking car. I like your driver.

excellent job on both the car and the figure!

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think that the LMM kit is in 1/24th scale.

A friend of mine has built it and it makes up into a very nice kerbside model.

His is definitely 1/24th…Did LMM make one in 1/32nd scale as well?

Previous posts have neglected to mention the lovely photo etched wheels that were radally spoked

like those that were first used on the Type 59.

If you look at the model, it is im 1/32
