1/32 - 1/35

I’ve asked this same type question about 1/24 - 1/25 scales for autos, but I think the same question may apply here.

Why do the kit manufacturers make 32nd scale aircraft when they could make it 35th scale and therefore compatible with armor?

Any ideas?

The only reason I can think of is because they like to mess with people. Their motto must be, “In your suffering, I grow stronger!” I’m sure that there is some logical reason, but for the life of me, I’ve never figured it out.

LOL!!

Probly goes back to inch system vs. metric. 1/32 fits into the inch system easily where anything will fit into the metric system, 1/35 was probly just a convenient size.
