1/24 typhoon

good evening fellow modelers…Airfix 1/24 typhoon is the most over rated model of 2015, I am currently working on this kit, I am sorely dissapointed, just be ready for surgery and taking engine parts off so the cowelings will fit. All that work for nothing but yet another over priced kit. I am sorry I bought it. But I will see it through to the end. I bought the airfix 1/24 mosquito 10 years ago for less than $40. and it went together better than this kit. The Airfix 1/24 mosquito has listed for as much as $300.00 on popular auction sites. I am just about thru with this over priced hobby after 40 years! the one and only kit I am waiting on is the 1/32 lancaster, other than this kit, I am going into my stash, and I am done.

Hello!

I sure am sorry to hear something like this… At first I was going to suggest going for some smaller scale, where builds might be faster and more rewarding… But then I thought - maybe you would like to check out quality paper models? In Poland they design them babies in 1:33 scale and you can gat all kinds of stuff in this scale - up to a B-52 (I actually have this one!) - 1,7m wingspan and 1,4m long when built. If you are into WWII stuff, most four engine types were done, too - B-17, B-29, Lancaster, Halifax, they even did the Sunderland. Check this out:

So, hang on there! Good luck with your builds and have a nice day
