1/24 Monogram Duesenberg SJ Roadster by SigEp Ziggy

I have had this model in my stash for sometime, I bought it used online and it was missing the instructions and the whitewalls for the tires. I found the whitewalls on ebay for $15 and the instructions on Fotki! So, here goes.

Looking forward to seeing this car come to life.

Stay safe.

That classic car line was among the best kits Monogram did. I still have a couple in my stash. Will be following your build.

I’ve been working on the engine and I put a coat of semigloss clear on the chrome sprue.

I got the parts I needed!

My dad used to love to build those kits. He was great at it.I love those cars. When I was very young a guy down the block had restored a car that looked like that one. He used to give rides to the neiborhood kids. I loved that car.

Working on the engine…

Classic Murphy bodied roadster!

Looking great! Love those old Monogram classic car kits- They were some of the best kits MG ever put out!

  1. The 41 Lincoln really has nice proportions, waterfall grilles too!

Is that a diecast or Monogram kit?

Is the color of the engine a hint to the color of the car? Looks great!

Stay safe,

Jim, Duesenberg engines are apple green, I’m going to paint her Burgundy over Black
