Has anyone here tackled the 1/18 scale dauntless SBD? Thoughts on this kit???

Though I can’t offer any real useful comment on this particular kit, my experience - through a friend who has built a few of those monster kits - is that they are impressive from far away, but unless you spend a lot of time and efforts adding details, they will look like toys once completed.
