I am exhausted. 3 days, I built and painted this monster. not weathered it yet. I planned finishing it in one day.
tom,
where is the link/pic?
[:)]
i saw one of your tiger . why there is a chinese word ? fortune …??? do german know chinese ? and put them on their tank for blessing ???
Dave, I will post some pictures after I weather it. I am testing it now. just love it. it is the best tank tamiya ever made. all the functions are great. especially the gun shooting, gun flash, recoil, gun elevate to loading position, then elevate to original shooting position. fiber lights effect are nice.
LeopardIIA6,
that chinese character means “Luck”, chinese put that character upside down because “upside down” and “comming” have same pronancation. so whole thing means “good luck comming”. one of the tiger tank wore that charator in WWII. the crew must be fan of chinese culture. I guess he ordered lots of chinese food:)
where did you see my tiger? from website or in person? it looks much nicer in person.
Judging by the rest of your builds, this one too should be very nice. Three days is a short time, but well done. Post pics when you can.
Thats really quick considering all the gears and electronics too. Can’t wait to see the weathered version.
Tomzag deserves a public thanks from me for helping with the 2A6 NATO camo diagrams from the kit. Thanks Tom [tup][bow][:)]

you are welcome. let me know if somebody else need it.
I can say this, there is no way anybody can built this beast in one day. I tried. you have to build everything, even all gearboxes. only thing you do not build yourself is the DMD unit. also the plastic is ABS, not regular model styren. so regular glue will not work.
3 things you must know before you build this baby.
- you can not build this in one day.
- you need kitchen table for 3 days because of so many parts and screw bags even you have your work bench.
- wear extra pading on your butt because of long time sitting and kicks from your wife. your wife will not like you scatter all parts on kiten table for 3 days…
