1/144 Rodan CV-340 "Hawaiian Airlines"

More recent kit that I finished, built OOB and in the included markings. I also included a base to help present it better. Rather quick and fun build, nothing really jumps to memory being particularly memorable with this one.

Very nice! Caracal have a decal sheet for the military version c-131B. Very tempted here!

Well done, I’m glad to hear it was a pleasurable build as I plan to do one.

This looks good Grant. Is that one big decal with the scripts and the door outlines that goes down the sides of that bird?

I found one cheap and ordered the decals for the military version and canopy masks… I’ve got to stop

Have that kit. It will jump to my bench very soon. I probably will do different decals. Rode a North Central 340 many times. Yours looks great!

Beautiful build! I plan to build mine as a military variant with the Texas ANG, Ellington AFB.

Very nice, really like the livery on this aircraft

That looks fantastic in those markings. Great job on it.

Very nice :face_savoring_food:. What is that emblem under left wing?

Oh, that must be the Imu (Underground oven ) for the Lūʻau (Hawaiian feast) for the passenger’s and crew after their long flight.
