Was not sure if this should go here or in the diorama section. Mods feel free to move the thread if needed.
So here I am almost done with the composition of this little 12x12 inch diorama set up. The MWM is lit with 6 3mm LEDs and a fiber optic will light the cobra “eye”. The wires and support rod run down the branch, trunk and under the base. The ship will “appear” to float in front of that tree. The farmhouse is being repainted and the windows will be boarded up as well. The house will also have a small flicker flame effect inside. There will be a glowing red crashed meteor to the right of the house that will be cast in clear red resin. Well, enjoy the pics for now. I will post some tomorrow of the MWM lit up after I get a tripod.

Very cool. I can’t wait to see more of this.
At first the first 3 pictures made it look a little bare, but after looking at the last three I can really see that this is what a ground level view would look like, more stuff would just clutter it up. Good job and cool lighting effect.
Now thats a cool light show. great work
Thanks guys. Once I do the groundwork, add the glowing meteor, a 50’s car in the driveway and portion of a small fising pond in the lower left, it will fill up nicely. I’m new to dioramas so I’m trying to decide what to use for groundwork, celluclay, Durhams water putty, etc. They all seem to have pros and cons and everyone has their favorite. I’ll update this weekend as I will be able to get most of it done.
Edit- Is this normal? If you left click on the picture itself you get a small pop up of the picture, but if you left click to the right of the picture you get a large picture pop up.
Okay, now that’s just weird - When I left click, I get a small pop up. Right clicking sent me to the Diamond Exchange. [%-)]
How are you hosting the images, and at what size are they saved at?
I would reduce the size of the base some. There is a lot of dead space around the farmhouse area (unless you intend to fill that space panicking civilians or something [:D] )
The lighting effect looks pretty good.
