Another kit that I am finally getting around to taking quality photos of. Built this as a study in using two colors, black and a florescent, to mimic the style of some of the limited kits Bandai had been releasing around the time I started this. I also wanted to use it as a test piece for doing checkered board pattern. While the pattern did not turn out as well as it could, place the blame on doing too small a size pattern, I am still happy with it. As for the color study, I think it turned out great and think it makes for an interesting challenge to work within while producing some eye catching results.

Now that certainly catches the eye! What color did you use for it?

I used Mr. Color Florescent Red with a matt top coat, and Mr. Color Gloss Black with a gloss top coat.
